AAP suspended Sandeep Kumar's primary membership

New Delhi: Delhi minister Sandeep kumar who has been sacked after a sex tape emerged has been supended from Aam Aadmi Party membership. Dalit community protest against Sandeep Kumar (suspended from AAP primary membership) over objectionable CD matter. In a high level meeting which was held on 3rd september, the party has suspended primary membership of Delhi minister Sandeep kumar has been told by AAP Delhi convenor Dilip Pandey. A further decision on terminating him from the party will be taken later, he added. The AAP on 31st august night sacked former Social Welfare and Women and Child Development Minister Sandeep Kumar after a video emerged showing him in an "objectionable position" with a woman. Defending himself, Sandeep kumar says he had resigned on his own and has been targeting because of being Dalit. In a bid to rebut the charge and accusations from elsewhere, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said he was "very pained" by what Sandeep Kumar did, which led to his sacking on grounds of morality even as the dropped minister alleged a conspiracy against him because he was a Dalit. In a video message, a pensive looking Kejriwal said he would prefer to die rather than deviate from the AAP's principles. The Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) slammed the AAP over the alleged sex scandal. (IANS)
