Badaun:�Badaun cousin sisters, who were found hanging from a mango tree, continue to fight against the evil, for justice. The family is rock strong on their decision to fight till the last breath. Two years on, the kin of the two sisters want justice and peace to the departed souls.
Earlier, two years back, the sisters aged 14 and 15, went missing from their home on May 27-28 and didn't return. The sisters stepped out at night, reportedly to relieve themselves in the field. Both of them were later found hanging from a mango tree.
Showcasing great fighting spirit the father said, "In these two years, we have seen turns in the case but we have decided to fight the battle, even if it takes us 20 years. We want justice for our innocent daughters who were killed brutally".
The case has seen many twists and turns in the past two years. The girls went missing on May 27 and their bodies were found on May 28 in the district. Five accused - three brothers Pappu Yadav, Awadhesh Yadav and Urvesh Yadav and constables Chhatrapal Yadav and Sarvesh Yadav - were arrested in connection with the case.
Later in their investigation, CBI revealed that the girls were not murdered but had committed suicide and gave a clean chit to the arrested accused. CBI had closed the investigation after dropping charges against five persons Pappu, Awadhesh and Urvesh Yadav (brothers) and police constables Chatrapal Yadav hand Sarvesh Yadav named as prime accused by the state police in the case.
