New Delhi:BJP chief Amit Shah on Monday made public the educational degrees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should apologise for spreading lies.
Addressing a press conference at party Head Quaters, BJP president Amit Shah said, It is very unfortunate that we have called a press conference to prove Prime Minister's educational qualification.
"We are putting both PM's degrees (Bachelor of Arts from DU & MA from Gujarat university) in public domain," Shah said.
Kejriwal should say sorry to the nation for degenerating public discourse to this level, he said, adding, Kejriwal has done paap of showing India in the bad light in front of the world.
When Kejriwal have no proof that degrees are fake, how could you mislead the people of the country, Shah said.
"I will write a letter to Kejriwal ji so that he is reassured," he added.
Finance Minister Arun Jiatley spoke at the press conference. "Making such public statements, attacking someone without checking the facts is a very lowly thing to do."
