New Delhi: Aam Aadmi party leader and poet Kumar Vishwas has ended all the rumours of joining BJP. He himself took to social media and cleared all the bruit itself. It's been saying that AAP senior leader Kumar vishwas may join Bhartiya Janta Party and contest in the UP assembly election.

According to soucres,Vishwas is likely to meet BJP Chief Amit Shah before a formal announcement is made. He may be ushered in at the BJP UP office in Lucknow.

"Yes, according to sources PM joining TDP, now run this as a news. Just joking like u guys (sic.)," tweeted Vishvas in a response to question from a journalist.

Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, a school mate of Vishvas, also tweeted sarcastically to rubbish the reports.

"I have information that PM (Modi) is joining Congress. He has already met Rahul Gandhi," tweeted Sisodia.

Sources in AAP said Vishwas had been sulking as he was initially not named as the star campaigner in Punjab, but he continues to play a critical role in campaigning.

Vishwas, who had contested the Lok Sabha elections on an AAP ticket from Amethi against Rahul Gandhi and Smriti Irani, is keen on contesting from Sahibabad seat in Ghaziabad district of UP.

Vishwas has been leading party's campaign amongst NRIs who could play a critical role in the Punjab polls. He has also been galvanising fund raising for party among NRIs.

"A plane is arriving tonight in Delhi airport from Canada carrying NRI volunteers who will be campaigning in Punjab. Vishwas is scheduled to receive them at the airport in person" a source said.
