New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh will remain dry for at least 48 hours before voting the state Election Commission has directed the state government to ban on sale and serving of liquor during voting.
Election Commission Nasim Zaidi has ordered for Dry Day in Uttar Pradesh. EC said there will be ban on liquor for 48 hour. before voting, EC has given notice to all those state where election will took place. In UP the election will took place on 7 phases at every phase 48 hr, before the liquor will be banned, strict ordered has been given to the states which covers border area, Election commission has also quoted that liquor should not reach to all voting states.
