New Delhi: Tamil Nadu DMK ( Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) President MK Stalin met with farmers who is protesting at Jantar mantar in New Delhi for drought relief in their state.
Athough, one third of the paddy fields in Tamil Nadu has been damaged due to bad monsoon, the farmers are on protest demanding drought relief package of Rs 40,000 crore for their state.
Stalin said the Centre doesn't appear to bothered despite the farmers' continuous protests. "Tamil Nadu CM should have come here & found a solution to their problems, instead he is busy with RK Nagar by poll in Chennai" said MK Satlin at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
Also, Stalin called for an all-party meet to be convened.
