Lahore bomb blast: Six dead, 18 injured in a bomb blast near Bedian road

New Delhi: Six people died in a suicide attack in Pakistan including 4 soldiers of the Pakistani army and injuring over 18 people in Lahore's Bedin road on Wednesday morning.A Punjab government confirmed the explosion to a suicide attack," in which the census team and army men were targeted, yet no terrorist organisation has claimed the attack.

Pakistan has seen a series of attacks in the past few months killing over 130 people, all over the country. On February 13, 14 people died in a bomb blast in the eastern city.

Again, after ten days another blast killed eight people and sent panic through the city,official later claimed it was a gas leak,not an attack as initially feared.

February's assault's also included, a suicide bomber killed people at a Sufi shrine in Sindh province which killed 90 people, was claimed by Islamic state.

The attack was claimed by Jamat-ul-Ahrar (JuA). On March 31, another blast killed 22 people and wounded 57, when a car bomb tore though a market in a mainly Shiite area of Pakistan's tribal belt in an attack that was also claimed by the officials later said it was a gas leak.

Pakistani Prime minister expressed condolences in a Facebook post and sympathized deeply with the victim's families
For the first tie in 19 years, Pakistan have lunched the National census exercise which is to be finished by May 15. People reacted to the attack that happened at a place where census was being held.

Pakistan launched a nationwide crackdown after February's attacks,killing dozens of alleged militants across the country.
