Bhopal: The Bhopal district collector has ordered closure of all government as well as private schools toll class eight after the metrological department predicted a massive heat wave conditions across the state in the next 24 hours.
Schools running classes from standard nine to standard 12 have also been ordered to stay closed before 11am. The district collector have asked to make sure that all exams are over before 11am.
The metrological department has predicted an accurate heat wave across Gwalior and Shivpuri districts in the next 24 hours.
Heat wave conditions for the next 24 hours have also been predicted for Srinagar, Indore, Ujjain, Chambal, Mandla, Hoshangabad and the rest of the Gwalior division.
According to the metrological department communique hot and dry winds ranging from 14 to 16 km per hours would be blowing across the state with the next 24 hours.
Shivpuri also recorded a high of 41 degrees, while Hoshangabad recorded a high of 43 degrees.
Khargone Mandla and Vidisha recorded a high of 42 degrees, while Sagar recorded a high of 41 degrees till noon on Tuesday.
