Tahlka News Desk
New Delhi: Shiv Sena leader and MP Ravindra Gaikwad ticket has been cancelled by Air India his ticket was from Delhi to Mumbai & Mumbai to Delhi tickets for April 17 and 24 respectively. The Air India Cabin Crew Association (AICCA) has said it will be a shame if he would be allowed to resume flying "without a rap on the knuckles" for his act of beating up a 60 year old staff and threatening to throw him off a plane at Delhi Airport last month.

Picture of cancelled ticket.

We do not wish to be flying such a person it would also crush the morale of all the employees the association claimed in a letter to Air India chairman on Late Thursday night.

Later, Gaikwad apologise about the incident in a letter to Ashok Gajapathi Raju and has asked to allowed to fly again. Private airlines IndiGo, Jet, SpiceJet, GoAir, Vistara and AirAsia are waiting for AI to decide on the issue and then they will act on a cue.

The government is not deciding in a hurry as tempers are running high.
