Sushma holds bilateral meetings with African ministers

The mountain which is near Lake Mansarovar in Tibet is close to the source of many of Asia's longest rivers, Indus, Brahmaputra, Sutlej and is considered a sacred place by many religions among these is Hinduism, devotees of which belief the mountain to be where Lord Shiva resides in meditation with his wife Parvati. "Even as Prime Minister meets leaders, External Affairs Minister simultaneously meets Foreign Ministers, starting with Foreign Minister of Sierra Leone," external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said in a tweet. Sushma Swaraj met eight of African foreign ministers on Tuesday, and is scheduled to meet 12 more on Wednesday. (IANS)
