Varanasi:�Panic gripped the premises of Varanasi court after the recovery of two bombs.
Reportedly, one of the bomb was recovered from near the gate number 2 of the court.
As per the information received, one of the two bombs recovered is a hand grenade. However, no official confirmation about�it has been made yet.
Meanwhile, the police have been informed and the area has been sealed to carry out further investigation.
On Saturday morning, the people spotted an unattended bag near the gate number 2 of the district court and informed the police. Reacting to the matter, the police evacuated the place and began the investigation.
This is not the first time that such an incident has happened in the court premises.
Earlier, in 2007 bomb blast rocked the Varanasi court in which 15 people were killed.
The Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police has moved court seeking a warrant to question alleged Indian Mujahideen operative and Azamgarh native Mohammad Saifur-rehman Ansari regarding the serial blasts at district courts.
