New Delhi: �A�22-year-old girl Tina Dabi �from Delhi topped the 2015 civil services examination on her first attempt,�while railway officer Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan from Jammu and Kashmir has got second rank in the results which were declared on Tuesday.
Dabi, a graduate from Lady Shri Ram College said, �It is indeed a proud moment for me�.
Dabi has chosen IAS with a preference for Haryana."Haryana has developed economically but on gender equality, there's much to do. It has the lowest child sex ratio in the country and I wish to work on that.
A total of 1,078 candidates cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam -- 499 from the general category, 314 from the other backward classes, 176 from the scheduled castes and 89 from the scheduled tribes.Tina Dabi, one of the youngest civil services toppers.
