LUCKNOW: Two wanted members, Kamal and Rohit of Bhim Army were today arrested in connection with the violence here on May 9 in which a police chowki and 30 vehicles were set ablaze, police said.
A joint team operation of the crime branch and local police arrested Kamal Walia and Rohit Raj.
Both were arrested for their connection in the May 9 violence and arson when Bhim Army allegedly attacked a police party and media persons in Ramnagar village, according to police reports.
The police had Rs 12,000 cash reward on them, the report said.
They burned a police chawki, torched more than 20 vehicles while several instance of stone pelting and clashes were reported across Saharanpur on May 9.
While, the main conspirator chief of Bhim Army Chandrashekhar in the Saharanpur caste violence, was nabbed from Himachal Pradesh yesterday after fleeing nearly a month ago.
