LUCKNOW: UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath started a special vaccination campaign today at a primary school in Manpuri village of Kuchinagar district to eliminate brain fever or Japanese encephalitis (JE) and encouraged participants to participate.
A lot of children suffer from this disease in Eastern UP every year.
State Health Minister Siddharth Nath Singh welcoming the Chief Minister said that : "the war is fighting against the disease in inspirational for all of us." About 200 children were vaccinated on the location. Adityanath also inspected the primary school, where the vaccination campaign has been started. The campaign will run across 38 districts of the state from May 25 to June 11, 2017.

Yogi also laid the foundation stone for various other projects worth Rs 268 crore , which includes Kedriya Vidyalaya in Kushinagar and along with seven sub-stations of 33 KVA.
The campaign, which was started from Musar basti in eastern UP where a lot of children suffer from this disease where every year, Mostly poor, extreme backward and minority families live.
"There is only one way to prevent this disease, cleanliness and drinking water. This why special campaign for cleanliness is being district." he said.
The state government has also paid dues of Rs 2200 crore to sugarcane farmers during his two-month tenure. Also stricter measures will be taken to stop theft in sugarcane mills and provide genuine rates. The situation of wheat procurement centers have also been improved and a procedure in underway. A record number of wheat by the farmers is have also been sold.
The chief minister ensured the farmers facing problem in sugarcane mills, he said, " Th state government will ensure the extension of two closed sugar mills every year and development in other existing sugar mills."
He also offered to add 70 lakh employees every year, including set up of new Medical and Engineering level colleges and polytechnics as per the required demand. Lack of funds will not be allowed in the development of the state. Job vacancies for Anganbadi workers will be opened soon, he said while talking to the Anganbadi works to make their contribution in bringing public awareness about health and hygiene in villages to eliminate encephalitis.
Talking about improving law and order in Khushinagar the Chief Minister said, " From the soil of Mahatma Bundh Khushinagar, I am giving final warning to such people to improve or strict actions will be taken against those who will interfere in low and order."
CM yogi announced to extending the benefits made by government schemes and programmes on the birth anniversary of Deen Dayal Upadhyay in the state with the cooperation of the people. Two hours of work permit will be issues for work related to sanitation as a part of the progerammee for every citizen.
On this occasion Health Minsiter Siddharth Nath Singh said that "vaccination drive run in 38 districts of the state from May 25 to June 11, 2017 have stared who target is to vaccinate 90 lak children under the age group of 1 to 15."
He also announced a special help line number 1800-180-554 for information or advice related to encephalitis.
