Wastage of foodgrains will not be spared, strict actions will be taken against official: CM Yogi

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Aditynathgave strict instructions for safer storage of wheat purchased in the price support scheme and have also nominated commissioners of Nodal officer, dividing a body concerned to ensure the storage of wheat.
The Chief Minister also said that under Prime Minister Modi government this year a better price supporting scheme is implementing strict instruction for safe storage of wheat. The action taken for the procurement of wheat is going very much better amid the rainfall.
Due to quality measures and arrangements transporting wheat from purchasing centers to regularly of the Food and Logistics Department, the State Warehouse Corporation and the Food Corporation of India, to make proper arrangements for its storage. The procedure of storing the wheat will continue till June 15, 2017.
The chief minister said that the "official will pay special attentionon the storage process of scientific storage of other foodgrains including wheat will be done in government warehouses, during the rainy season. If the wheat is spoiled from rain or any other reasons then strict actions would be taken against them" he said.
